We’re Jared and Audrey, the authors of this blog. We created Christian Med Student to help pre-med and medical school students succeed, and to share about how faith in Jesus can empower you and give you peace in the process.
Jared is passionate about sharing his own struggles and triumphs as he works to become an M.D., and Audrey is passionate about sharing her experience being the wife of a future doctor. We are so glad you’re here!
About jared
Jared is an M1 student at his dream school, Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine (KPSOM) in Pasadena, California.
He majored in Pharmacology and Drug Development at the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated in May of 2022.
In his free time, Jared loves to play chess, read, play guitar, cook, play board games, and spend time with his wife.
Jared became a Christian when he was seven years old, but really started following Jesus in college after he became involved in USC Christian Challenge.
About Audrey
Audrey currently works as a Systems Engineer for a medical device company.
She majored in Biomedical Engineering at USC, where she met Jared through Christian Challenge.
In her free time, Audrey likes to read, but mostly she likes hanging out with her husband and friends.
Audrey became a Christian in the seventh grade, but became serious about her faith in college. Her favorite Bible verse is Jude 24-25.
